Message for Trudeau as he visits Alberta
Justin Trudeau and his cabinet are meeting in Calgary this week and we have a message for them. While the Prime Minister may wish to phase it out, we are proud of our oil sands and the entire oil & gas industry. We will not apologize for it.
The Trudeau government needs to wake up and understand how devastating this would be to Calgarians and the entire provincial economy. If the Prime Minister truly wants to help, he would scrap his plans for a carbon tax and focus on fixing a broken equalization system that sends billions of Albertans’ hard-earned dollars to provincial governments opposed to our energy sector.
Wildrose will continue to fight for Alberta families, while refusing to bow to political pressures from Ottawa.
