Build a Simple Pie Chart in Tableau || Steps by Steps || Tableau
Hi Guys,

---Steps---
Step 1:- Open Tableau Desktop Application
Step 2:- Select Data source file type & Click on
Step 3:- Go to Specific Location in your system, Where file is located
Step 4:- Then Choose the file & Click ok
Step 5:- Now, Select the sheet
Step 6:- And drag & drop in white space area (If downside in white space area row data is showing, Then your data is successfully imported in Tableau)
Step 7:- Now, Go to sheet 1 (Where we create a Table using imported data file)
Step 8:- First you need to select Pie Card. So, Click on Mark Card on Drop Down & Select Pie Option.
Step 9:- Now, Select Sub-Category and drag & drop in Details Card.
Step 10:- Now, Select Sales and drag & drop in Angle Card.
Setp 11:- Again select Sales and drag & drop in Color Card.
Step 12:- Go to View option and Select Entire view. Now, your chart are showing on whole sheet
Step 13:- Now, Select Sub Category & Sales both field and drag & drop on label card. Then the labels will be appear
Step 14:- We need to show contribution of every part of pie in labels so..
Step 15:- Select Sum(Sales) field in Marks, Right click and choose Quick Table Calculation, And now select Percent of Total
Step 16:- Again Select Sales field and drag & drop on Labels Cards
Step 17:- Now need to format labels. Hence, Click on labels card then click on Text and choose any font, font size, font color & alignment. And press ok.
Step 18:- Now, need change settings for highlighted labels.
Step 19:- Click on Labels, And go to Mark to Label section and click on Highlighted Button.
Step 20:- Now need to sort columns ascending to descending. Then, On ribbon showing sorting buttons Click on 1st button & Columns will be sort.
Step 21:- Also, You can add border on chart. Click on Color Card, go to Effects section And click on border & choose color for Border.
Step 22:- Now, I am changing sheet name, So right click on sheet 1 heading and click on "Edit Title" it. There also you can choose font, font size & etc..
And Finally, Your Bar chart is created...
