Thomson Scattering
A derivation of the Thomson cross-section for (non-relativistic) electrons scattering photons. We use the Larmor formula and the chain rule to derive a geometric "size" of an electron for being hit by a photon. More material at: https://casper.astro.berkeley.edu/ast...
