Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X at Home: 2 Years No Outage!
One minute video... I wanted to take a screenshot of the up time counter on my home network router. The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X we reviewed 4 years ago is a very stable product! My home network has been running constantly for two years, with traffic including continuous security camera feeds, video streaming, and file transfers. As you can see from the CPU/memory stats, the EdgeRouter is not even breaking a sweat! The power in my area is very stable and so is my ISP (Comcast), but even though those have blipped the EdgeRouter keeps going...
UPDATE: Eventually I had to update the firmware. Then my UPS died and had to be replaced... So record was broken - but still easily going multiple months with no home network downtime!
