When I was doing mission work in Eswatini, an anesthesiologist there wanted to know how mask anesthetic was administered to pediatric patients here in the US, so I made this video for them.
This video shows the appropriate amount of time that it takes for a pediatric patient to undergo a set of grommets, or ear tubes. As you can see the patient undergoes a relatively simple mask anesthetic, the tubes are inserted, and they are returned to the recovery room in good condition. (The time out is muted per HIPAA regulations).
