Ear Candling
Many people ask about ear candling, specifically if it actually clears wax out of the ears. Short answer: it doesn’t. That said, I’ve had several patients say that it feels good after they’ve gotten their ears candled. I believe that if patients like the way it feels, go ahead as it is “relatively” safe. There are risks, such as damage to the ear from molten candle wax that you have to be aware of.
