ECSTASIS by dkitey (Extreme Demon)
Had a strong urge to try out another platformer extreme, and with this receiving a significant nerfdate recently along with the fact that this level always appealed to me, I figured I would give it a try. I have seen people really trash on this level and honestly I am not sure why, I love the atmosphere and decoration, and the gameplay was honestly really fun too. The ball was quite a noticeable increase in difficulty for me, taking almost as long on the first ball checkpoint as I did to get to it, but it never got frustrating. I did start dying to stupid things a lot at the last checkpoint because of fatigue, but that's because starting this at 1am wasn't a good idea. I would definitely recommend this to those new to platformer extremes such as myself as the chill atmosphere really prevents you from getting frustrated. This is also my new hardest platformer, and despite being my 5th plat extreme I think this is the first I would personally call an extreme. The other ones I did were just far too checkpoint dense to warrant an extreme rating, whereas the checkpoints in this level despite being not too spread apart all consisted of very difficult gameplay.
