This video deals with the 3D Freezeframe effect as seen in the CorridorDigital video 'Photoreal'. It's a remake for the tutorial I uploaded last year. That one was made with very bad, free, screencapture software and I promised at the time I would re do this at a later date so here it is.
It's preferable to attempt this effect with After Effects CS6 or higher because I'm using the 3D Camera Tracker in this tutorial. You can of course use an older version only you will need a separate Camera Tracker plugin, like The Foundry's Camera Tracker, or stand-alone camera tracking software like Boujou (which is what the guys at CorridorDigital used for their video).
