First ever Manual Mode flight w Avata 2
After having trained in the Liftoff simulator for more than 55 hours I felt confident enough to try flying the Avata-2 in Manual Mode. I'm glad I did the simulator training first because it felt really comfortable flying in Manual Mode. It's not that different from the simulator. I switched off the attitude limitation rightaway because I didn't feel I needed it. I have the Ham-Hack installed so I reached speeds of upto 85 km/h but I still had some trouble maintaining a low altitude when I opened up the throttle. You can see the drone going up and down in a wave pattern when flying down on the deck. It's a matter of adjusting the camera angle and careful throttle management. Anyway, a very successful first try and it felt great. This is a fantastic little drone. The flight time in this mode is about 5 minutes max.
