Make your own Cabinet FACE for your home shelves, kitchen and bathroom cabinets with this design DIY
Learn how to make a cabinet door like this one. First you need to buy a sheet of 1/4"x4'x8' oak faced plywood. Buy a few 1"x4"x8' Oak solid wood. I will quickly show you how I cut the rough materials to size, giving the corners a 45* angle and cutting a slots for plywood to fit in. Then I give you a detailed walk-thru on how I assemble the pieces to create this Cabinet door.
After assembly, I will then show you how to lightly sand and prep the door for varnish. How to varnish the doors with multiple coats to achieve a quality finish. I used polyurethane to seal the door, then a Poly-Shade Espresso to finish it off and match the trim inside the office.
Then I take you on the job site and show you what it looks like installed and complete with all the hardware.
