Turn that closet into a GIANT Shower DIY tips
This is a before and after transformation of an old unused closet into a Giant Shower.
First I removed the wall between the 1/2 bath and the closet, then removed another wall with a door leading into the bathroom. Framed up some new walls around the bathroom entry room and old closet door. Cut open the ground to install drainage for the shower and toilet. Installed new copper plumbing for the mixing valves and shower heads. Closed up the floor with concrete after passing inspection. Installed a new shower pan with pan liner. Installed cement backer on the walls. Tiled the floors and walls. Installed some new drywall and finished it for paint. Installed a new door and door trim. Installed new base trim. Painted everything with 2 coats.
Reinstalled the vanity and toilet. Installed a large Glass shower door. Installed a bluetooth light that hooks up to your smartphone. New bathroom ventilation fan.
