The previous house painter hasn't prepared the surface properly and Brett shows you how the undercoat is oxidizing and creates a powdery material.
As a result of this, the paint will simply peel off the walls of this house.
The first step now is to go through and remove all the old paint. Then go through and wash the existing surface down to get all this had a residue off. Next, use a good quality undercoat and finally put the top coats on.
Once Brett and his team have done all that, there's no reason why the paint on this house won't last 10 to 15 years.
