So this morning I'm at Holland Park. And we're doing an exterior house repaint.
So the guys behind me here, they've put the Dumond Smart Strip on. And we've allowed that to sit on the surface for 24 hours, and essentially that was enough time for it to dwell, and break down the old paint that was on the surface.
Once this is complete, we'll go through and do the Dulux Weathershield paint system.
So we'll give it a first coat of oil-based primer on these boards, and then two coats of Weathershield. And the results of this, once we're finished. You won't have any flaky paint.
Paint job'll last 15 years guaranteed. And you haven't got the worry of loose flaky paint, which potentially could contain lead-based paint in it.
Falling off the walls, landing in your gardens, potentially being picked up by kids, ingesting it or breathing it in.
