@IPPSA is coming and handling awards is different. While the award order is approved in IPPS-A, the certificates are still manually done. How will your S1/ G1 handle that? Once an award is completed, the S1/G1 need to "release" the award in IPPS-A, or else wait 30 days until IPPS-A does it for you.
Once the award has been released, the Soldier can see it and at 4:16 A Soldier can see how to view their own award order.
One of the coolest things that IPPS-A provides is the ability for the recommender to see where the PAR is at all times. Leaders who submit an award (or PAR) can skip to 6:50 to see how to track any award (PAR) they've submitted on behalf of someone.
