In this conversation Philip offers his vision on the latest developments in the area of regulating competition in digital markets in EU and UK, focusing on analysing and comparing the provisions of EU DMA and UK DMCCb. He also looks at the ongoing reforms through the prism of the Furman Report which had drawn the contours and intellectual directions for these initiatives.
As always, Prof. Marsden had provided very open, sincere, deep and engaged views on many delicate issues accompanying the regulatory initiatives in EU and UK. We discussed the vision – but also detailed technical nuances of both new regimes.
