TRANTOR: Paving the Way to 6G with Satellite Integration
TRANTOR is driving the evolution of 5G non-terrestrial networks (NTN) towards 6G by validating a complete satellite value chain. This project focuses on automated satellite resource management across multiple bands, orbits, and satellites, while integrating seamlessly into 3GPP standards. AI-driven governance will enable real-time radio resource management for dynamic satellite traffic demands. Additionally, TRANTOR is advancing multi-connectivity with new antenna designs and 5G NTN equipment, enhancing flexibility and security for a resilient, global satellite network.
