Type on a path tool:

In Adobe Illustrator, you can type on a path using the Type on a Path tool. Here's how you can do it:
Select the Pen Tool or any other drawing tool to create a path. You can draw a path using the Pen Tool, Pencil Tool, or any of the shape tools like the Rectangle Tool, Ellipse Tool, etc.
Once you have your path created, select the "Type on a Path Tool" from the Tools panel. It looks like a "T" on a curved line.
Click on the path where you want your text to start. You'll see a cursor appear along the path.
Start typing your text. You'll notice that the text flows along the path.
You can adjust the position of the text along the path by using the Selection Tool (black arrow) to click and drag the text along the path.
You can also adjust the orientation of the text by using the Direct Selection Tool (white arrow) to click and drag the handles of the text path.
Once you're satisfied with your text, you can further customize it using the Character and Paragraph panels.

Area type tool illustrator:
In Adobe Illustrator, the Area Type tool allows you to create text within a defined shape or area. Here's how you can use the Area Type tool:

Select the Area Type Tool: It's located in the Tools panel, usually grouped with the Type tool (shortcut T). Click and hold the Type tool icon to reveal the hidden options, then select the Area Type tool.

Create a Shape: Before using the Area Type tool, you need to create a shape where you want the text to appear. You can use the Rectangle tool, Ellipse tool, or any other shape tool to draw a shape.

Click Inside the Shape: Once you have your shape created, select the Area Type tool and click inside the shape you created. A flashing cursor will appear, indicating that you can start typing.

Type Your Text: Simply start typing the text you want to appear within the shape. Illustrator will automatically adjust the text size and line breaks to fit the shape.

Adjust Text Properties: You can adjust the font, size, color, alignment, and other text properties using the Character and Paragraph panels, which you can find under the Window menu.

Resize and Edit the Shape: You can resize and edit the shape at any time, and the text will adjust accordingly. Use the Selection tool (shortcut V) to select and manipulate the shape.

Flowing Text: If your text overflows the shape, you will see a small red plus icon. This indicates that there is more text than can be displayed within the shape. You can resize the shape or use the Direct Selection tool (shortcut A) to adjust the shape of the text box.

Wrapping Text Around Shapes: You can also use the Area Type tool in combination with shapes to create text wrap effects. To do this, create a shape and place it over another object. Then use the Area Type tool to type within the shape, and the text will wrap around the underlying object.
