Held on the United Nations International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples (9 August), the INDIGI HACK Young Indigenous Innovators Awards is an International recognised event which celebrates the achievements of youth here and across the globe.
This year’s INDIGI HACK theme is based on preserving and maintaining Indigenous languages using technology.
Over 100 youth from many culturally diverse backgrounds will compete to develop a new innovation that will support youth to engage with their mother tongue.
This award will be attended by the country’s most high profile political and community figures, scientist, entertainers and personalities. We will have performances from Australia’s best Indigenous acts, technology showcase, delicious bush foods and more.
