Ep. 78: A Crazy Mild Winter...With a Cold Snap! Jan Feb 2024
After having the warmest December on record, January and February were full of surprises! January started off mild, then temps plummeted mid-month. A week later and we were back to mild temps. I only used my snowblower 3 times (4" of snow or more) this winter season! February was up and down with the temps, but mild for a February here......thank goodness! I'm sure all the wild ones really appreciated not freezing all winter long or having to sleep all season on a blanket of snow. Yea!!!
These are all very wild deer that have come to trust me in a very unique way. They run if anyone comes walking down the road or tries to come into my yard. They stop in for a quick snack, then head back out into the wild to live their normal lives.
