Quick Clip #9: The Young Boys! Feb 2024
My new rule out here is that the new fawns have to earn a name by letting me pet them. Corum (Dee Dee's boy) is the biggest and bravest and let me pet him back in late September. McCarthy (Peyton's boy) was next and has gotten pretty used to me now. Harbaugh (Sophi's boy) is still a bit shy but let's me pet him almost every day. They are all part of Peyton's family, and I love when they come up for snacks!
These are all very wild deer that have come to trust me in a very unique way. They run if anyone comes walking down the road or tries to come into my yard. They stop in for a quick snack, then head back out into the wild to live their normal lives.
