US Army Vietnam Era Veteran Riverhead, NY – Did his last Victory Lap at Riverhead Raceway before interment at Riverhead Cemetery David Fox served honorably from July 1962 to June 1965 as a Light Weapons Infantryman assigned to the Co. B, 3rd Bn, 36th Infantry. He attained the rank of Sgt. and was awarded the Expert Infantry Badge and Marksman (M-14). He entered service from Riverhead and returned there. He was a regular fixture at the Riverhead Raceway where he was well known to all. He was a 57-year member of the Flanders Fire Dept. 🙏 🙏 R.I.P. /03/18/2023
