Patriot Guard Riders participated in the military honor funeral services of Daniel J. Osip. Daniel, 79, who passed on February 24, 2023, at his home in Brownsville, Texas, after a long illness.
The family flew up from Texas with cremains & stayed at AIRBNB in Manorville, NY. Members escorted family & cremains to Calverton National Cemetery from there. Anyone wishing to escort, met RC Mike Osip a the BNB @ 09:45 AM
Born in Riverhead, NY, Dan was a 1961 graduate of Riverhead High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy on 24 July 1962 and earned the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6). He was an Aviation Electronics Technician and a Vietnam Veteran and was honorably discharged on 23 July 1973.Daniel is the brother of PGR RC Mike Osip.
