Pokemon Episode 1 Before And After "Shock Incident"

After the 38th episode of Pocket Monsters ("Electric Soldier Porygon") was aired in Japan and gave many watchers seizures, the show was put on hold. When it returned all of the preceding episodes had been edited, even if they hadn't caused seizures previously. Most western viewers will have never seen the original animations shown in Japan. This video shows a side by side of the changes made to the first episode.
After these edits Pocket Monsters was allowed back on the air, but Electric Soldier Porygon became the first ever banned episode. This led to the recent Porygon did nothing wrong conroversy, following a tweet from Nintendo.
