$485 Gain: Veritone : 25 September 2017 : Portfolio Performance : Robinhood Dividends

⦁ Intro:
⦁ Good Morning and Welcome to Robinhood Dividends. Join me as I talk about my investment strategies for capturing dividends and growing my portfolio.
⦁ So for the first time since I started this portfoilo in March of 2017 I am finally in the green.
⦁ And I know this channel is more about dividends. However from as far as I have looked into into the upcoming ex dividend dates I haven't seen anything of interest.
⦁ So I figured I would try my hand at day trading while I had nothing else going on.
⦁ I was able to fix a big part of the negative in my portfolio from the play I made from the Equifax breach the other day.
⦁ This time after checking out a few different stocks of interest I settled on VERI or Veritone.
⦁ Veritone is a company with a focus on cloud based AI. However more important for the sake of the day trade is that:
⦁ 1. There has been a lot of positive news the company receiving an award in its field.
⦁ 2. That it seems to be rather consistent to drop around $56 dollars or so and bounce back to $60.
⦁ So I did just that I set my first buy for 58 shares for $56.30 totaling $3,265.35
⦁ I then set the sell for $61 it sold at $61.2 for a total of $3,549.61
⦁ I bought in again 60 shares at $57.78 totaling $3,466.8
⦁ Then selling at $61 totaling $3,660
⦁ I have purchased again at $57.00 with the intent of selling at $61
⦁ However as I have done two day trades with Veri I am running the risk of being labeled as a pattern day trader and having my account locked out for 90 days.
⦁ So I will have to wait till at least tomorrow to sell off Veri as a swing trade instead of a day trade. Hopefully once those day trade strikes have been removed
⦁ I can do a few more to add more to my portfolio.
⦁ Also as I have made it over the $3,000 hump I have upgraded my account to $3,000 margin giving me over $6,000 to invest.
⦁ Outside of VERI I am also trying to average down on AMD,MU,and AAPL.
