In 2010, Vancouver hosted the Olympic Games. Although many felt that this was a positive event for the city, many in our communities were negatively affected. Street performers that frequent Granville Street, entertaining the public to make a hard-earned living, are now being charged to have the privilege of
utilizing this public space. This emerging film maker has hit the streets to find out how the performers feel about the new requirement for all street performers to have permits, which was not in place pre-Olympics.
