I think that's so important, especially for indigenous youth nowadays, to be able to understand... that you have more influence than the world has on you inside a space that you carry with you, wherever you are, no matter what you do."
Here at UNYA, we were privileged to work with slam poet and educator Zaccheus Jackson, through several of our programs. Zaccheus inspired us with his courage, creativity, and passion for youth and community empowerment.
He will be greatly missed.
