Lithium batteries are everywhere. In our phones, laptops, cars and for storing energy. The rapid expansion of lithium batteries, particularly in cars, has increased the need to change how batteries are used. The amount of batteries in their end of life in the coming years, has warranted the necessity of finding ways to reuse the batteries for another service, or recycle them. This video will explain the three main ways lithium batteries are recycled, and their respective pros and cons.
