The exceedingly high demands of residency make it very important to maximize your time outside of work and away from the hospital. I spent two weeks in Spain with my good friend and resident colleague traveling to 4 cities and experiencing Spanish-European culture for the first time. Now considering I'm still only a little over a year out of medical school on a modest resident salary, it was very important to budget appropriately for this trip. Watch how we navigated traveling and accomodations in a foreign country without breaking the bank. Hope you guys enjoy the video.
