Granada is centred around the Parque Central 10 blocks from the
shores of Lake Managua and it is here you will begin your visit. You
will take a walk around the neo-classical cathedral and the Episcopal
Palace as well as wander by the numerous public colonial buildings
nearby. At the Plaza of Independence, you can explore the remarkably
restored Casa de los Tres Mundo before walking to the historic Church
of San Francisco, site of the pulpit from where the friar and historian
Bartolomé de Las Casas preached. To the rear of the church is an
incredible collection of indigenous art found on the island of Zapatera.
