How to use LikeLook flashcards correctly
Instructions:
Take three cards; for older children, five is fine. First, study the characters and their characteristics. It's crucial at this stage that your child names each character without thinking.
Now, we'll teach English words using the associations we've already learned. Develop this skill until it becomes automatic. Our goal is for your child to instantly translate words without thinking about the associations.
Now try pronouncing the word in English, so your child can translate it into Russian. Develop this skill until it becomes automatic.
Once you've mastered all the words in this block, you can move on to the next three words. Once you've worked through three cards three times, shuffle them into one deck and test yourself!
If you've forgotten anything, put those cards aside and work through them again.
