This is my Barracuda. There... aren't any others like it, actually. Hm. Anyway, this car has been around on the channel almost since the beginning. And in previous videos, I've discussed my brilliant plans to turn it into the perfect period drag racer that looks like it time traveled from the 1970s. But what I haven't done is actually start building it - so today, I'm finally going to do that. The obvious first step to building a drag car is to strip away everything that doesn't need to go along for the 1/8th mile ride. So today, let's gut this fish, make a few important decisions, and get a taste of what the final product will look like.
