Omar Sakr joined Briohny Doyle for the University of Sydney Creative Writing 'Writers at Work' in-conversation series. Sakr's is the first Arab-Australian Muslim to win a Prime Minister's Literary Award with his poetry collection These Wild Houses (Cordite Books, 2017). Sakr's visit, titled 'What Writing Costs' explores the intersection of writing and capitalism.
