Hey there, folks! Steve Toth from SEO Notebook here, and today's note is all about internal linking strategies using Keywords In Sheets, making internal linking for SEO super fast and supercharging your site’s topical authority.
In this note, I show you exactly how to use Keywords In Sheets API to find topical clustering opportunities on your website and the best way to export all your URLs and discover the pages that have similar content so you can link them all together!
Improving your internal linking on your site improves your ranking as it distributes link juice across your site, thus building topical authority - which is a ranking factor in 2023!
Here are the steps to generate interlink opportunities.
Step 1: Export your keywords into Keywords In Sheets (full tutorial here https://seonotebook.notion.site/Inter...)
Step 2: Export your top pages in Google Search Console or Google Analytics
Step 3: Then paste into a Google sheet
Step 4: Be sure to split words within the URLs by replacing the dashes with spaces!
Step 5: Use the Cluster function and paste into the next column - let Keywords In Sheets do the work for you!
