ASA Firewall Mode and Type:-

1. Layer 3 or Layer 2 Implementation
2. Security Context
ASA Mode:
1. Sing Mode
-- Using as a single device.
2. Multiple mode
-- Using ASA to Make Security Context.
By Default, ASA Mode is Single Mode.
#Show Mode
ASA Types:-
1. Routed Firewall:
-- Deployed as Layer 3 Device in the Network.
-- The device is considered the next hop in the network.
-- Almost all the Features are Supported.
2. Transparent Firewall:
-- Deployed as Layer 2 device in the Network.
-- You have the Same Network on both sides of ASA.
Note:- By Default Firewall Type is Routed
