Stateful Firewall:-
It is a device that can be used for:-
1. To allow all the inside users to communicate with the Internet/outside network.
2. To block any unwanted packet coming from outside the network.
Stateful:-
⦁ This means the device will maintain the session or packet state information.
⦁ Whenever any packet is coming from outside, the device will match the packet with the session information if the packet matches the session information, the packet will be allowed.
⦁ Stateful devices will allow only reply traffic from the outside interface.
