Our #distributed #rendering #addon for #blender makes #3drendering faster.
It enables you to use all your computers to #render both single frames and #animations.
In this quick demo, we used the #cpu (#ryzen3950x ) and #gpu (an #rtx2070super) of a single PC to render a single frame of blender.org’s Nishita sky demo.
To get the most from the addon, install it on as many computers as you like (they do need to be attached to the same network, local or VPN). Running Blender on each computer is all that is needed to use its hardware to render.
Connecting to each machine is simple, our addon then synchronises the blend file and checks that the scene is synchronised.
Rendering is controlled the same way as normal in blender, use F12 and Ctrl + F12 to start a single frame or #animation render.
