Distributed Rendering | First test with blender 2.8
This is a compatibility test we did between our addon and Blender 2.8 alpha.
Our addon allows you to easily distribute rendering across multiple computers, even those on different networks and even use AWS computers as well. Basically you can make your own render farm using any computer you can get access to :) just remember to get permission first ok?
So, why this video? We needed to make some changes to prepare for the coming of Blender 2.8 and thought you'd love to know that we're actively developing a version that is now working. It needs polish, but its now able to render.
Oddly enough it can actually distribute EEVEE rendering as well, though not in the viewport.
We're going to do more mini videos like this as we test and improve the addon in anticipation of Blender's 2.8 Beta release sometime soon.
