Blender 2.8 - Crowdrender distributed cycles render
Another update on progress we're making with our addon! In this video we show that we're now able to distribute rendering in cycles using the blender 2.8 alpha 2.
Crowdrender is an addon we've made for blender that you can use to build a render farm in about ten minutes using just ordinary computers and a wifi or ethernet connection. The addon uses the CPUs or GPUs of each computer to render your work faster than with just one computer.
We've made it super easy to install and setup, you don't need any other software, just download the addon, install it using blender's addon installation tool and then you're good to go. It works with just 2 computers and can potentially handle 100's :)
