A BETTER than free solar setup?!?
Yeah! If it's done correctly... you basically CAN get a Solar Setup for your home for better than free. Better than free means it actually pays YOU instead of you paying to do it. I know I'll get arguments from people, so here's the basics...
If your average monthly Bill for electricity is X and your Tesla solar loan is 70% of X... then you are being paid to install the solar. My average monthly electric bill was $350. Our solar loan payment is a fixed $240 a month! I paid $100 for the initial installment, which is beans compared to the $50,000.00 for my system.
At the end of the year, I will get a check FROM the Electric Company for energy created that I did not use. That extra money can go straight into the loan for the Solar thus paying it off faster. In addition I can take the $100 per month savings and also throw that into the loan, paying off an additional $1200 per year.
Since I got the 30% Federal Tax Credit, I only paid $35k for a $50k solar system (18.9 KWatt). On at 20 year loan at 4% interest that's about $240 a month compared to my $350 a month average electric bill.
Yes the math works! You should really look into getting Solar!
