Deck Discussion: Two similar control decks Summer Derby 2020
Laurence Boulanger and I both played pretty similar decks in the 2020 Summer Derby (using Atlantic Rule set). My build was very "The Deck"-ish with a win condition of infinite fireball, powered by Basalt Monolith and Power Artifact. Laurence's build was similar but with a win condition of Millstone backed up with Field of Dreams.
Both our deck lists were like 80% similar, with very similar sideboards, and we even both finished with 5-3 records! I thought this might be an interesting discussion and I was excited to hear about his deck and his findings as well.
