Live from Commsverse Day 2, I grabbed Luke Ward from Cisco to decode the InfoComm announcements - and the interoperability story.

🔘 Teams mode (MTR) - native Teams Rooms, ready for Copilot, Facilitator, and agents like Interpreter as they land. These devices are SIP-capable, so you can make a native SIP call into Zoom (a CRC call) with no CVI gateway required.

🔘 RoomOS mode - for those of us meeting customers where they are. Join Webex natively, SIP into Zoom, and join Google Meet natively. The device switches platforms seamlessly - no reboots or reconfiguration - then drops you back to Teams when you're done.

🔘 Zoom Rooms mode (the new InfoComm announcement) - outside a call it looks, runs, and behaves as a fully featured Zoom Room. In beta now, GA by end of year.

🔘 Device-hosted meetings for DR - in a regional outage, you can launch a Webex meeting straight from the device with no Webex licence required.
