Who would have thought that we would have to move to Costa Rica in order to pick oranges. Living in Florida we didn't have any orange trees on the property, and neither did our neighbors.
Moving here to Costa Rica we have a variety of citrus trees and other tropical delights. Mango's, low kuats, lemons, oranges, tangarines and even a few coffee plants.
The previous owners evidently planted this "mini" orchard quite a few years ago so now we get to enjoy the benefits. Here's Ed picking some citrus. There's nothing better than having your own citrus. By the way, because of our mild climate year round, we have a constant growing season so we can always pick delicious citrus.
Unlike Florida, we don't have to worry about freezing temperatures either. Ahhhh this is the life.
