Chase cam, aka 3rd person view for drones is dope! After all, we usually do not see out drones when we rip! Why almost nobody attaches camera to the outside of drones? How hard can it be? Turned out, it’s a little harder than I expected and first tries were scary! Second tries were only a little better and in total it took me a few attempts to figure everything out!
In this video I used Pirx HD.7 frame https://bit.ly/399eEil running INAV and a Caddx Peanut camera attached with carbon rods and 3D printed elements. It might still not be perfect, but gets the job done and actual footage looks actually good!
