Here’s the thing! First FPV drone should be simple to setup, simple to fly and very forgiving in the air. Not “the best” and definitely not expensive. All in one package preferrable, the simpler the better. For example, like BetaFPV Aquila16. Don’t get me wrong, if you are a seasoned FPV pilot Aquila 16 is not for you! It’s for a completely different market! Plus, it has hidden feature that absolutely makes sense if you are a FPV noob! It has a working OpFlow and lidar based position and altitude hold that actually works. You can park it in the air and it will stay there! And Aquila 16 actively uses OpFlow to make flight in Normal mode simpler!
If BetaFPV Aquila 16 would be my first drone 9 years ago I would be more than happy owning it. Learning to fly would be much simpler and cheaper experience! Of course, I would be using it only for a short period of time, but that’s the point of beginner drones! They are supposed to be cheap and easily replaceable!
