Existing Conditions BIM in Revit
This showcases an existing conditions Building Information Model (BIM) viewed and developed in Autodesk Revit. This is a fly-through of an existing conditions Buidling Information Model (BIM) we developed for a project in Seattle, Washington. The model was developed from very accurate 3D laser scans, traditional survey and record information to aid the project team in design. By creating an accurate 3D model of the existing conditions, the project team was able to drastically eliminate coordination issues with both the existing surface and subsurface systems. This project also utilized subsurface utility engineering (SUE) together with field exploration for structural components.
