Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel
Gold award winner!🏆 The Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel project was key to helping Sound Transit assume ownership of the tunnels from King County and make necessary improvements to accommodate trains, improve public access and safety, and modernize the facilities.🚇
DEA 3D laser scanning surveyed the tunnel alignments, stations, and entrances along the 1.3-mile route, establishing new survey control, preparing new right-of-way plans, and preparing a 3D BIM model of the existing conditions.
