TriMet's Powell Bus Garage Facility
DJC Oregon’s Project of the Year! TriMet's Powell Bus Garage Facility wins DJC Top Projects award. 🚌🏆 As ridership increased, TriMet wanted a facility that truly represented the community. The new, state-of-the-art 120,000 square-foot building will store and service over 300 buses, including the new articulated buses for TriMet's FX Frequent Express service along Division Street and integrated infrastructure for battery-electric bus charging to support TriMet's goal of a zero-emission fleet by 2040.
Congratulations to TriMet and Stantec on this major project! DEA provided civil and structural design and construction engineering services. DEA provided technical expertise and strong relationships with important agencies like ODOT and the City of Portland. We're thrilled to see the positive impact this new facility will have on the community.
