Skyrim ~ How To Keep Gharol's Iron Sword
This video guide shows how to acquire the rare sidequest item Gharol's iron sword. First become blood-kin to the orc strongholds if your chosen character type is non-orc. Head to Dushnikh Yal southeast of markarth and head left to speak with the blacksmith Gharol. Ask about trading with other cities and she'll mention she forged a sword out of frustration from having her daughter Lash run off from the village. Get the sword and head to the mining community Karthwasten. (Supposedly this was the original capital of the reach before markarth. Probably didn't take long for it's people to outgrow the town.) While in karthwasten find gharol's daughter lash gra-dushnikh (orc surnames match their place of origin.) Hand Lash the sword and she'll reward you with leveled gold. Now crouch into sneak mode and pick it back off of her. This item is mainly a collectible piece for those on a completionist bender.
