In this video guide see how to get gain some easy XP and skill points early in the game! No outposts or skills need to be unlocked! This is the fastest way i've found otherwise. There are a number of planets to toy around with by adjusting difficulty for easy high level enemies and high XP but this one i found to be great for a few levels. I think they all start slowing down after hitting level 21+ so you'll need to switch to another method possibly.
