Update Packages in Bash on Ubuntu / Windows 10
To update the packages in Bash on Ubuntu on Windows 10 / Terminal in Ubuntu follow the steps below.
The process is same on both Windows and Ubuntu as we are using Bash Terminal.
1. First run the command :
sudo apt-get update
2. Enter you user password if prompted
3. Next run this command:
sudo apt-get upgrade
4. To accept press Y
5. And hit Enter
Upgrading time depends on your internet speed so be patient ;-p
Once it has done updating all the packages you are ready to use it as usual
